Development of the new 2035 ANEF contour, incorporating new Pilatus PC-21 and relocated training school operations.
Scope of Services
Marshall Day Acoustics' work involved:
- Preparation of 2035 Australian Noise Exposure Forecast (ANEF) for RAAF Base East Sale
- Measurement of PC-21 operational noise levels, and derivation of Noise Power Distance (NPD) data, suitable for input to the 2035 ANEF model
- Forecasting future noise levels around RAAF Base East Sale for a range of operating scenarios, including seasonal variations and routine training operations
- Establishing baseline noise conditions, noise modelling, analysis of flight paths and movement statistics, and the preparation of 2015 Australian Noise Exposure Index
- Presentations at community and local government consultation events
