The Melbourne Cricket Ground is Australia’s largest stadium, with a capacity of just under 100,000, it is one of the world’s iconic stadia. The AUD $400 m redevelopment involved rebuilding of about 55% of the stadium's ground. The project incorporates the Northern Stand, which completes the redevelopment.
Scope of Services
Marshall Day Acoustics has been involved in all aspects of the room acoustics, sound insulation and noise control for the new Northern Stand and has designed the new distributed sound system for the complete ground.
