Craig Fitzgerald

Craig Fitzgerald is a consultant in the Auckland office specialising in environmental noise and vibration assessments, building acoustics and underwater acoustics.

Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Auckland in 2003. He joined the Wellington office in 2007, following several years working as a mechanical engineer. Before joining the Auckland office in 2011, Craig spent two years at Capita Symonds (UK) where he gained Chartered Engineer status with the Engineering Council (UK).

Craig has experience in environmental acoustics for large infrastructure projects and has presented as the noise expert at Council hearings and Environment Court mediation. He also has experience in architectural acoustics, providing advice on sound insulation, room acoustics and mechanical services noise control. He annually presents an acoustics lecture to Building Science students at Victoria University.
