Laura McNeill is a consultant working in the Auckland office in the fields of environmental noise modelling, assessment and noise control. Prior to joining Marshall Day in 2010, Laura studied at the University of Auckland where she completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours, specialising in the fields of geography, environmental science and environmental management.
Since joining Marshall Day Laura has focussed on the prediction, modelling and control of environmental noise. In particular noise control for airports and roads.
The airport work that Laura undertakes includes airport noise modelling, measurement of aircraft noise, assessment of noise effects, implementation of planning provisions, complaint analysis and reporting and ongoing noise management work.
As part of her work Laura also undertakes mapping and analysis of data using GIS software.

- Bachelor of Science with Honours (Geography/Environmental Science)
- Currently completing a Diploma of Professional Acoustics (University of New South Wales)
